Association of Financial Engineer (HKAFE) is a
professional membership organization which is
sponsored by famous professionals in Finance.
The association aims to:
foster the professional standards of Financial
Engineering and raising public awareness of the
value of Financial Engineer;
provide
the means of attaining the standards;
contribute to China¡¯s financial internationalization
and Hong Kong's role as a leading international
finance center with high standards of performance;
maintain a membership of professionals and enhance
the capabilities and reputation of members.

In 1980s, Financial Engineering
originated in western countries. As the base of
financial innovation, Financial Engineering aims
to modulate traditional financial tools and processing,
and to develop new financial products, which helps
the participants of the financial market keep
up with this changing world more effectively.
Complying with the characteristics
of continuing education, HKAFE develops a financial
engineering training course system based on the
theories of financial engineering. The course
system is an open system which focuses on disseminating
the up-to-date results of the financial innovation.
Experts of financial engineering and other relevant
areas from all over the world will provide leadership
for HKAFE. HKAFE also aims to cooperate with the
organizations in the similar industries worldwide,
such as theory intercommunion and membership mutual
recognition. We aim to provide valuable trainings
to the individuals who intend to work in financial
engineering and relevant areas and to improve
their skills.
